Laureata in Fisica (Astrofisica), si è dedicata fin da piccola ad attività sportive.
Col tempo le sue preferenze si sono rivolte verso discipline sempre più artistiche, come il Pattinaggio su Ghiaccio di cui è stata Istruttore Federale. Da molti anni si dedica con grande passione allo studio delle Danze Antiche (Danze di corte tra il XV ed il XVII secolo, Danza Barocca, Danze di Società di tradizione Ottocentesca, danze popolari e danza del ventre).
Die aktuellen Digitalisierungs-Projekte (Gallica, Europeana, Google-Books, der Bibliotheca Augusta, Wolfenbüttel, und BSB, München, etc.) sind durch umfangreiche Bereitstellung von historischem Material eine noch nicht dagewesene Chance für die historische Recherche und Forschung.
Im Rahmen der Schultheatertage gibt Niels Badenhop am Freitag, dem 21. Oktober von 8-16h einen Workshopo zum Thema: Bewegung und Tanz des Barock.
Es werden Bewegungsgrundlagen und Tänze der Zeit erarbeitet, um einen Einblick in die Bewegungsästhetik der Zeit zu geben. Der Kurs ist für Schüler, aber auch Gäste sind willkommen. Für weitere Details melden sie sich bitte bei Beate Sturm: 0921 82564

Im Rahmen der Schultheatertage bietet das Markgräfin Wilhelmine Gymnasium Bayreuth gelegentlich Kurse auch zum Thema Tanz an für Schüler, aber auch für Gäste.
