Uri Smilansky, geboren und aufgewachsen in Israel, studierte dort Musik unter anderem bei Gershon Prensky, Drora Bruck und Myrna Herzog. Er unterrichtete Blockflöte am Petach-Tikva Konservatorium, leitete Ensembles an der Thekma-Yelin Schule für Musik und Künste und ist in Israel als Blockflötist und Gambist bekannt. Er gewann Preise in einer Reihe von Wettbewerben, darunter den ersten Preis der Aviv Competition for Early Music und ist seit 12 Jahren Stipendiumsempfänger der America-Israel Cultural Foundation.

We regularly organise dance events in medieval settings, as well as dance courses in winter.

Historical Dance Theatre "A l'entrada" is a non-profit artistic organization engaged in research and perfomance of old European dance, vocal music and theatre from the Middle Ages to the mid twentieth century. The main goal of the theatre is to immerse spectators into the wonderful world of historical ball, bringing a fairy tale to the modern life. Beautiful costumes, live music, singing, acting, juggling and, off course, dancing are the main components of "A l'entrada's" perfomances. La Vida en Público!

Chieko ONO graduated in Japan and now lives in Assisi and Guardea. She directed many Italian 15th century dances in Italy and around Europe, USA and Japan.
She will hold the 13th edition of the Assisi Dance course in June 2010.
Since 1993, she has been conducting the "Belreguardo" Historical Dance Company; she is also the Director of the Cultural Association Il Convivio. Her teaching activity is the outcome of a thorough comparative study on ancient Italian and Japanese dance.
