In a beautiful environment, we will have the opportunity to spend a few days of communuty life, and to study more in depth theoretical and practical aspects of 19 Century dance.

Circolo Pisano della Società di Danza organizes anreconstruction of a 19th Cenntury grand Ball in the marvellious historical Villa Agostini della Seta di Corliano, close to Pisa.

Quadrilles, waltz, polka and mazurkas, contredanse and marches, Scottish country dance and aglio.

The ball will take place in the elegant and charming main salon with ancient frescoes of Villa della Seta di Corliano.

Società di Danza Firenze organizes a christmas 19th Century Grand  Ball in the beautiful Villa Viviani  

Waltzes, quadrills, polka and mazurkas, contredanse and marches, Scottish country dances.

The ball will take place in the charming ancient salon of Villa Viviani.

The historical villa has also a beautiful italian garden with a scenographic view of the City  

The buffet will be served at the of the Ball.

“LEAD UP – Scottish Country Dances – 2nd edition”: masterclass with Giorgia De Luca

Open to students of any level, the workshop will feature social dances of the first half of the 19th century, reconstructed according to the manuals of the period, along with forms still in use today, underlining the elements of continuity.

Organisiert sind wir als Arbeitskreis der Kulturkreis GmbH Schwalbach am Taunus.

Unsere Gruppe besteht derzeit aus 9 Personen, die  Tänze aus der Zeit zwischen dem 17. bis 19. Jahrhundert tanzen.

Unser Repertoire reicht von englischen Tänzen (Playford) bis hin zur „Fledermaus“ (Française).

Auch treten wir in historischer Gewandung bei privaten und öffentlichen Veranstaltungen und Festen

in der näheren Umgebung auf.

Der Verein Plaisir d'Histoire freut sich, Interessierten des historischen Tanzes von 18.-19. Jahrhundert einen Sommerworkshop in Bäch/SZ, im ehemaligen Bahnhofsgebäude und heutigen Kulturlokal, anbieten zu können.

Unter der Leitung von Anne-Sophie Divoux werden wir am Freitag und Samstag neue Tänze lernen oder unsere Kenntnisse für Tänze auffrischen. Am Sonntag machen wir einen fröhlichen Abschluss und wer möchte, trägt sein/ihr Lieblingskostüm aus dem Barock oder der Belle Époque!
