Baroque

The Winter Ball at Castle d’Ursel is gradually becoming a fine tradition. This year we are welcoming yout again, with flickering candles on the drive, drinks and refreshments in the mirrored room and of course an extensive programme of dances in the hall.

With five musicians playing an accompaniment, three dancing masters will stand ready to guide you in the steps and figures of the dances. In between times you can explore the upper floors of the castle and pose with your party for our house photographer.

Am 25.10.14 veranstalten wir unseren ersten Ball in der schönen Aula des Schulmuseums. Wir werden Tänze aus dem 18. Jahrhundert tanzen, ein Instrumentalensemble wird uns dabei begleiten.

Ballbeginn 20 Uhr

Kleidung: Rokoko oder Barock

Bei genügend Interesse gibt es am Sonntag, 19.10.14, 14-16 Uhr, einen Vorbereitungsworkshop.

Débutant :

dimanche de 10h à 13h (dix cours dans l'année*)

Intermédiaire :
jeudi de 10h15 à 11h45

Avancé :
jeudi de 14h à 16h

* Dates des ateliers du dimanche : 28 septembre 2014, 5 octobre, 23 novembre, 18 janvier 2015, 1er février, 22 mars, 19 avril, 10 mai, 31 mai et 21 juin.

Partant de la France, la culture chorégraphique a rayonné dans toute l’Europe.
En France, le rituel du bal guide chaque mouvement, chaque regard sous la contrainte d’une étouffante hiérarchie.
