Celebrate the Life of Charles Dickens 1812 - 1870!

With live music from Green Ginger we'll dance through time to reflect Dickens’ life! 
From Regency to Victorian we'll be treading the boards of this stunning little theatre!
We are fundraising for the Down’s Syndrome Association.

Zum 300. Geburtstag des Wohlgeborenen Freiherrn von Münchhausen erlauben wir uns, einen Ball zu seinen Ehren zu veranstalten, und Sie, erlauchte Herren und Damen, dazu einzuladen. In seinem langen Leben hat er viele Menschen kennengelernt, die wir nun alle bei einem fröhlichen Fest zusammenbringen wollen.

Der Katharinentag war traditionell der letzte Festtag vor der Adventszeit, in der früher ein striktes Tanzverbot und Fastengebot bestand. Also wurde an diesem Tag noch einmal ausgiebig getafelt und getanzt. In diesem Jahr findet der Kathreinstanz in Kooperation mit den Altstadtfreunden an alt ehrwürdiger Stelle und stilistisch passend in der Renaissance-Halle des Peller-Hofs am Egidien-Platz statt.  Deshalb sind uns im Stil der Renaissance gewandete Gäste an diesem Fest-Abend besonders willkommen.

The cultural association "Società di Danza", founded in Bologna in 1991 by Fabio Mòllica, is a Federation of Circoli and groups.

A 19th Century Grand Ball in the beautiful, historic Stefania Palace in Budapest.

Dress code: Crinolin or bustle dress for ladies, tails or military uniform for gentlemen

Price: 110 Euros per person, to include two dance masters, live music by the Pannonia quartet, three course dinner, unlimited drink consumption, dancing until midnight.

Saturday November 26 is the date!

To celebrate 20 years of 19th century dances here in Rome, under the expert guidance of Maestro Paolo Di Segni, we will welcome you at the Auditorium delle Fornaci, just off St. Peter’s square.

The musicians of the Orchestra del Teatro della Memoria will accompany our steps, with their usual flair and good humor: the  Maestri, we know from experience, are quite ready  to join us on the dance floor!

Am Samstag, dem 8.10.2016, um 20 Uhr  im Bürgersaal des Rathauses Zehlendorf, Teltower Damm 18, 14163 Berlin (S-Bahn Zehlendorf)  machen wir wieder einmal einen Tanzabend mit altenglischen Country-Dances! Mitmachen kann jeder, der Spaß an Kreis- und Gassentänzen aus dem England des 17. und 18. Jahrhunderts hat! Bitte leichtes Schuhwerk mitbringen - einen Tanzpartner mitzubringen ist nicht erforderlich!

HISTORISCHES TANZFEST MIT OKZITANIS

Ein festlicher Abend mit Tänzen aus Mittelalter und Renaissance für alle Tanzfreunde und interessierte Neulinge. Zum Tanz spielt das Duo Okzitanis, das auch alle Tänze fachkundig anleitet: Kreis-, Hecken- und Figuren-Tänze, die den Bogen spannen von der Ausgelassenheit dörflicher Feste bis hin zur Pracht höfischer Bälle.
Auch die Gaumenfreuden kommen nicht zu kurz. In den Tanzpausen kredenzt der Wirt ein 2-gängiges historisches Mahl - lieblicher Klang und Sang erheitern Euch dazu den Sinn.
