Ball

A week-long dance and cultural programme, incorporating new material researched in Regency, 19th century, Ragtime, Jazz Age and Swing Era dances. Featuring Richard Powers, from Stanford University's Dance Division, and other workshop leaders from Fly Right Dance Company. 

Our programme is still being finalised, but here are some key highlights for you:

Parés de vos plus beaux atours, dans un cadre original et atypique, venez découvrir les danses de la Renaissance avec la Carité de Guingamor ! Loin d’être un moment convenu et réservé aux spécialistes, notre bal est une machine à remonter le temps interactive... Ouvert à tous, c’est un vrai moment d’échange, de rencontre et de partage autour de traditions passées que nous désirons re-créer et inscrire dans le monde d’aujourd’hui...

Schloss Paretz lädt am 17.5. 2014 zum 3. Mal zum Historischen Ball auf den Spuren der Königin Luise von Preußen. Der Ball soll auch in diesem Jahr überwiegend die Tanzkultur des frühen 19. Jahrhunderts widerspiegeln. Die Tanzmeisterin Erica Feist wird beim Ball im Saalgebäude des Schlosses Paretz und die Gäste schwungvoll durch die Lebenszeit der Königin Luise geleiten. Es werden Tänze aus England und Preussen wie z.B. Anglaisen, Longway`s, Quadrillien und „three couples“ zum Mittanzen angeboten, für Nachfragen zum Tanzrepertoiare steht Ihnen Erica Feist selbstverständlich zur Verfügung.

Unser BAL du MASQUE richtet sich an Spieler, die Freude an einem edel, dekadenten und anspruchsvollen Abend mit Adelsspiel und Maskenball haben. Die Veranstaltung beginnt am frühen Nachmittag mit einem Tanzkurz und Einführung/ Auffrischung von historischen Tänzen durch die  Tanzmeisterin Natalie ( Arbon e.V.). Am Abend laden dann die Adeligen der Familie de Beauvoir zu einem vergnüglichen und kurzweiligen Maskenball ein. Da wir die komplette Location gebucht haben, ergibt sich für euch die Möglichkeit, die gesamte Burg zu bespielen und zu begehen.

We have an honour to invite you for our next costume party! This time the theme are going to be the ballroom dancing from the XIX century. The costumes from the Jane Austen's epoque are very welcome, but there is no matter if you come in clothes from others historical periods ( or modern evening dress). We provide a small treat during the ball.

The ball will be preceded by dancing workshop, from Friday to Sunday. The workshop and tha ball are going to be hold by Lieven Baert.

19th century ball with quadrilles, waltzed, polka, mazurka, contredanses.

The association Società di Danza founded in 1991 by Fabio Mòllica and active in about thirty cities in Italy, and in Rome since 2002, organizes a reconstruction of a 19th century ball in the historical Palazzo Brancaccio.

THE  1914  POPPY  BALL

Chris & Ellis Rogers invite you to a 1914 inspired ball. 

Live music, (period) will be provided by ‘Green Ginger’ and dances will include: quadrilles, couple dances and country dances of the period. 

The ballroom has a beautiful sprung maple floor and will evoke the halycon days on the eve of the Great War- 1914

Tickets- £45 includes a light supper (all profits will be donated to the Royal British Legion Poppy Fund)

Changing facilities are available and on site parking is free.

Die Hoftanzgesellschaft aus Posen, Schloss Lasotow in Zielonki in zusammen Arbeit mi dem Sächsischen Verein Augustus Rex laden zum zwei Tägigen Feier zum andenken an die Ankunft des Königs Augustus II des Starken nach Warschau ein.

1. Am Samstag den 1 Märtz Anno Domini 2014 um 19 Uhr findet ,in Schloss Lassotow in Stare Babicach-Zielonki, das Landes weit einmalige Ereignis statt.Das große historische Maskenball , „"Die Zauber Flöte Anno Domini 1750"”.
