FRIDAY 13 June 2014, 6.30pm - 7.30pm, Il Teatro dei Vigilanti, built by Napoleon - Concert of Napoleonic Music -  Musicians and audience members in 1814 attire. 

FRIDAY 13 JUNE 2014, 7.30pm - 9pm A Napoleonic Dinner with Elban recipes from 1814

1835 wird im Theater an der Wien eine neue Posse mit Gesang von Johann Nestroy uraufgeführt.
Die Handlung spielt in nur einem Haus in Wien, aber auf zwei Ebenen und in zwei Welten, eben
zu ebener Erde in der Wohnung einer armen Familie und im noblen ersten Stock.

Beginn um 19:00 Uhr mit Sektempfang

Einlass ab 18.30Uhr

Ende 24.00 Uhr

Einen Kostümball im Sibylla-Augusta Festsaal (Rittersaal) im Ettlinger Schloss veranstalten die Tanzgruppe „Caprice“ und die Wirkstatt in Kooperation mit dem Kulturamt Ettlingen am Samstag, 15. Februar ab 19:00 Uhr. Damit wird eine Tradition wieder lebendig, die einst von Markgraf Ludwig Wilhelm und seiner Gemahlin Sibylla Augusta gepflegt wurde.

We’ll dance for 3 hours every morning and 3 hours every evening and in between all-can-enjoy cave tours, river walks, thermal-pool-swimming, games, sleeping, cooking and eating. The accommodation, food preparing areas, lounges and dance rooms are simply fantastic. Any 19th century dress, be it from day or evening dress from any of these periods is fine. We’ll have a big cave tour in full Victorian era costume and there’s a prize for those who manage a Victorian era bathing costume (otherwise your usual is fine!).  

Enjoy three days and nights of dance (plus music, costume, theatre, food and other fun) at our Jane Austen Festival Australia in Canberra. 

All Saint’s Church, cnr Bonney/Cowper St., Ainslie with a hot meal provided early in the evening and with guest lutenist Nick Pollack.     

Dance while you sing, and sing while you dance at St Johns Church Hall, Constitution Ave, Reid. 7.30pm - 11.30. 
Everyone welcome, no partners necessary and all dances led. Please bring a plate of food for the late-evening supper table.

lade ich Euch wieder zu einem ganz besonderen Tanzboden ein:
Zu einem Tanz in den Mai.
Die Walpurgisnacht ist berüchtigt für Hexentänz und Schabernack.
Traditionell gilt die Nacht vom 30. April auf den 1. Mai als die Nacht,
in der die Hexen insbesondere auf dem Blocksberg (eigentlich Brocken),
aber auch an anderen erhöhten Orten ein großes Fest abhalten.
Diese Vorstellung ist beeinflusst von den Beschreibungen
des Hexensabbat in der Literatur des 15. und 16. Jahrhunderts.
