Performance

The Wrocław Masque Project presents a fully staged production of the Stuart Court Entertainment, Lord Hay’s Masque, as part of the Wrocław "Maj z Muzyką Dawną" Festival.

Dance, drama, music and poetry combine to honour the wedding of court favourite Lord Hay and his bride Honoria.  Flora, goddess of flowers, presents Nymphs, Sylvans and Satyrs in celebration of the marriage, while the goddess of Night frees the leafy Greenmen from their trees as they regain their human form and return in triumph to dance at court.

1714 verlor Katalonien die Unabhängigkeit. 2014 ist das symbolische Jahr des Strebens nach "Freiheit". In Vorbereitung sind historische Festaktivitäten, die Tanz- und/oder Musikeinlagen beinhalten sollen.

Die Planungsphase der Tanzkurse und des Bal folk-Abends unter dem Titel
Catalan 8 hat bereits begonnen. (20. April 2013)

Vortrag: „Tänze zur Zeit der Königin Luise“, Erica Feist

Die entsprechenden Tänze werden im Kostüm von dem Ensemble für Historischen Tanz, der Musikschule Berlin- Spandau vorgetragen.   

Im Anschluss sind Sie herzlich zu einer Führung durch das Landhaus der Königin Luise eingeladen.
