Als die Familie Mozart am 12. Juni 1763 in München ankam, kam sie gerade rechtzeitig für die Namensfeier von der kunstsinnigen und talentierten Maria Antonia Walpurga von Bayern, die Schwester vom Kurfürsten Maximilian III Joseph. Ein Tag später fand in Nymphenburg aus diesem Anlaß eine große Gala statt mit Tanz und Musik.

This concert, the first venture of The Wrocław Masque Project, is a dynamic presentation of dialogue, dance and music from various masques. The scenes are linked together by a common theme: the jealousy of the goddess Diana, when one of her nymphs wishes to marry.

Chess, based on J. Kochanowski's peom, is a ballet and pantomime performance with music of the Polish, Italian and French Renaissance. The poem is presented to the audience through dance, pantomime and the spoken word. The ingenious and humorous text reveals the genuine feelings and emotions of the characters, while the vivid and dynamic plot provides ideal material for a performance based on Renaissance dance and pantomime movement.
