La Pellegrina (25 years in the Czech Republic in 2015!) offers this wonderful and unique summer school, where instrumentalists, singers and dancers will happily integrate, work together and perform the Florentine Intermedii, at the time intermezzi for the stage play La Pellegrina, but even then more popular than the lengthy play itself.

For all, sessions of barock dance consisted in 2 parts : all together, and then advanced level

• sunday : 10h-11h30, all (and Belle dance beginners) ; 10h-13h, advanced

Basic steps and arms codes for all, to realize then various Bawl sequences movements (pas de gavotte, de menuet, de bourrée, chassés, balancés, etc,) and patterns and study of a choreography.

Der Kurs in zwei Gruppen durchge­führt:

Markus Lehner wird die fortgeschrittenen Tän­zer betreuen: Auf dem Programm stehen Angloisen, Ecossaisen, Quadrillen und andere Tänze aus den Büchern von Kattfuß, Mädel sowie den Tanz­sammlungen in Beckers Taschenbüchern aus dem frühen 19. Jahrhundert. Ein Schwerpunkt wird da­bei auf der Erarbeitung der Tänze mit dem zeitge­mäßen Schritt­material liegen.

von 7-10 Juli 2014 auf dem Schloß in Rydzyn (Leszno, Großpolen) finden internationale Workshops für den Barocktanz für Mittel- und Fortgeschrittene statt, die durch Pierre Francios Dolle aus Paris durchgeführt werden.

Baroque Dance Course with Jane Gingell

In this course we will be concentrating on consolidating technique and co-ordination by studying sequences from notated baroque dances, as well as making co-ordination exercises and step-work. The level is fairly intensive, but we will also take some lighter relief with contredanse and Playford.

We will work for about six hours each day. This course is suitable for intermediate-level students of baroque dance; it may also be of interest to more advanced dancers, but it is not suitable for beginners.
