im Rahmenprogramm zum Mittsommernachtsball 2013 findet  folgender Kurs statt:

„Les Petits Bosquets“ / 20.06.2013 / 19:00 – 21:30 Uhr

Auf dem Programm steht ein Contredanse à huit von M.Magny (1765): Les petits Bosquets (Tanz für je 4 Paare)

Vorkommende Schritte: pas de bourée, contretemps, chassé à la francaise, assemblé
Die Tanzelemente werden in geeigneten Schrittkombinationen vorgestellt und erarbeitet.

Chestnut’s Fourth Costume Ball is primarily meant for dancers who have been working on the programme for the past months but it also addresses beginners and onlookers, for whom we have also planned simpler dances.

For advanced dancers, Chestnut is organizing  a 4-day workshop to prepare for the Costume Ball, May 8 to 11.

Please note: registrations for May 1 at the latest!

Voici un joli bouquet de ces danses conviviales:

Well Hall, Mulberry Garden, Portsmouth, The Geud Man of Ballangigh, Easter Monday et Tythe Pig (du film "Pride & Prejudice 2005).

C'est une journée dédiée à la Contredanse de Playford, il ne faut pas savoir les danses prévues, mais connaître (ou bien saisir en un clin d'oeil) les figures de base; toutes les danses seront avec progression ("vacances").

Musique en CD et en live, avec petit bal final.

Dimanche de danse  10.00–17.00 (pause 12.30-14h)

Tänze im Kreis, als Schlängelreien und zu zweit:

 Heierlei, 5. Estampie, La Manfredina + Rotta à fig., Gimpel gampel, Wünsche …

Keine speziellen Vorkenntnisse nötig, aber eher anspruchsvollere Tänze.

Zu Sang und Klang von Schalmei, Flöte, Citole usw. (dazwischen auch ab CD).

Alle sind willkommen, mit oder ohne histor. Gewand. 

Sonntag-Kurs   10.15––17.00 (Pause 13h-14.30)

In diesem Workshop werden verschiedene barocke Tänze zur Musik aus der Barock-Oper Fairy Queen von Purcell erlernt. Die Choreographien stammen von Philippa Waite.

Welcome to a one day workshop with Karin Modigh in Stockholm! The course aims at students with a fair experience of Feuillet notated dances, and will include technique training and a repertory dance:
