Three days of dance in the natural park of the Emilian Apennines

The traditional Easter School of the Società di Danza this year will be in Busana (Re), in the woods of the National Park of the Apennines (Appennino Tosco-Emiliano), also known as the Parco del Gigante.

Napoleonic Ball Saturday 22nd May 7pm till midnight at Villa del Poggio Imperiale Florence. Costumes Court Attire 1800-1815 Cost €100: Jane Austen Day and Regency Ball 23rd May 3pm till 2am at Villa Gerini Sesto Fiorentino. Costumes Regency day/evening, cost €80. MAIN COURSES (9:00-13:00)

Lieven Baert--level 1: introduction to Italian, French and English 16th-17th century dances. Technique and balletti by Fabritio Caroso e Cesare Negri; gagliarda variations of Santucci; English country dances (Playford) and Measures of the Inns of Court

Barbara Sparti--level 2: The balletto "della duchessa", Martel d'amore, choreographed by Leone Tolosa, recently rediscovered, and performed in 1582 by the Duchess of Ferrara and other seven ladies of the court, dressed as four shepherds and four nymphs.

Commedia d’ ell’ Arte, Spiel, Musik und Tanz

Frühjahr 1492, Venedig, Italien

Angereist kommt eine Komödiantengruppe mit ihren charakteristischen Figuren,
Columbina, Pantalone, Dottore, Arlecchino. Sie entführen uns in das Venedig des 15. Jahrhunderts.
Liebesleid, Geldgeschäfte und stets ein leerer Magen.

Unser Ballzyklus Die Vier Jahreszeiten hat im April mit dem Frühlingsball La Primavera begonnen - jetzt ist der Sommer an der Reihe:
Im schönen barocken Spiegelsaal der Wiener Tanzschule Hernals feiern wir seinen Beginn mit Tänzen des 17. und frühen 18. Jahrhunderts. Auf dem Programm stehen viele Kontratänze für alle Gäste von sehr leicht bis anspruchsvoll, "freies" Menuett für Tänzer(innen) mit Erfahrung und typische Paartänze/danses à deux, dazu musikalische und tänzerische Einlagen und weitere unterhaltsame Überraschungen!

Pour son deuxième stage estival, Bassa Toscana a choisi Auxerre, ville au prestigieux passe spirituel, intellectuel et artistique. Son coeur, qui a su garder
un tissu urbain du XVIème siècle avec plusieurs centaines de maisons a pans de bois, appelle a la reconstitution historique telle que Bassa Toscana peut le proposer avec la danse Renaissance et Baroque.
Vendredi 13 aout 2010, en la salle des gardes, le Château d’Ancy-le-Franc en Tonnerrois accueillera le spectacle de fin de stage, de nouveau accompagne
