Den 300. Geburtstag Friedrichs des Großen feiert das Studio für Historischen Tanz Berlin mit einer Wiederaufnahme seines beliebten Programms "Preußens Glanz und Gloria". In vier Szenen aus der preussischen Geschichte lassen die Tänzerinnen und Tänzer berühmte Persönlichkeiten wieder lebendig werden: Friedrich der Große spielt Flöte und Königin Luise versucht, Napoleon zu bezirzen.

History & practice of social dance, its connections with scene dance is an interesting and important theme for dance researches. We'll discuss relationship between styles & dances of different countries & regions; variety of European dance cultures.

In unserer losen Reihe von Barocktanzworkshops geht derzeit unterhaltsamer zu – keine barocke Armtechnik, keine komplexen Schrittfolgen! Stattdessen werden wir einen Nachmittag lang „Englische Landtänze“ aus dem 17., 18. oder 19. Jahrhundert von verschiedenem Schwierigkeitsgrad tanzen.

Bitte bequeme Kleidung und Gymnastikschuhe oder ähnliches mitbringen, am besten sind solche mit kleinem Absatz. Ein Partner wird für die Anmeldung nicht benötigt!
