Three days and four nights of classes, workshops, historical balls, feasting and terpsichorean revelry, in the medieval ambience of the Miltenberger Altes Rathaus, with Medieval and Renaissance dance researchers from across Europe, the USA, Canada and Australia convening to share their work. L'Association Rotruenge propose un Week-End d'initiation aux danses du Moyen-Age, d'après l'antique transmission orale du savoir et du savoir-faire. Ces  quatre  journées  se  dérouleront  sous  forme  d'ateliers  dirigés  par Christophe Deslignes, assisté d'Eva Fogelgesang. Chaque journée d'atelier se terminera par de petites auditions, démonstrations, conférences, animées par la Compagnie des 5 Cercles avec la participation des stagiaires. Um 1635, in den unruhigen Jahren des 30jährigen Krieges machte sich eine kleine Gruppe von Adligen auf die gefährliche und beschwerliche Reise von Wien nach Erfurt. Begleitet wurde sie von Teilen Ihrer Dienerschaft. Waren die noblen Herrschaften auch durchaus wehrhaft, so hatten sie zu ihrer Sicherheit noch eine Gruppe von Söldnern angeheuert....

Wie der Passoemezzo ist sie eine besondere Form der Pavane mit ihren eigenen Gesetzmäßigkeiten. Die Musik basiert genau wie im Passoemezzo auf einem sich wiederholenden Ostinato, der in diesem Fall an die Grundmelodie der älteren Folie d’Espagne erinnert, allerdings im Zweiertakt.

Il workshop dedicato alla figura di Gugliemo Ebreo (Pesaro, circa 1420 - Urbino, 1484), in programma in luoghi altamente significativi di Pesaro e Gradara dal 20 al 23 settembre 2012, si propone di ricordare la figura di Guglielmo Ebreo, autore di uno dei primi trattati dell'arte del ballo che circolò presso quasi tutte le corti della penisola in diverse redazioni manoscritte.
