Renaissance

The theme of 15` "Cracovia Danza" Court Dance Festival is music, which has been connected with dance since its beginnings. G. Dumanoir's work "Le Mariage de la Musique avec la Danse" ("The Marriage of Music and Dance") proves that the inseparable bound between those two arts has existed for many years. Masters of dance played on instruments and musicians performed the art of dance. Through the events of the "Cracovia Danza" Court Dance Festival devoted to this subject we desire to find this unique harmony of dance and music, nowadays so hard to achieve and less practiced than before.

Il ne faut pas connaître les danses, tout sera montré, mais il serait favorable de les saisir avec facilité.

Man braucht die Tänze nicht zu kennen, alles wird ge-zeigt, aber man sollte sie leicht abnehmen können.
