A programme of dances from original sources which celebrate the rulers, castles and culture of the northern Italian courts 1450–1500. No previous knowledge of fifteenth centry dances is needed, but some dance experience would be beneficial.

Each afternoon starts with a lively medley of typical dances suitable for beginners, then features a dance of Spanish origin practised in all the courts of Italy, France and England: Spagnoletta (September), Spanish Pavan (October) and canario (November).
