Renaissance

A total immersion in historical dance
from the 15th through 20th centuries.

Classes will cover both social and theatrical dance forms, and will draw an intersection of professional,
academic and social dancers.  In addition, the week offers a comprehensive track of the essential
dances from each era — including etiquette and deportment — for educators who wish to
teach a comprehensive course in historic dance, or those wanting a thorough introduction to a new era of historic dance.

Passeggio is a group of dancers from Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

We are not professional dancers and we do not claim this to be our aim or duty. And, perhaps if we were professional, we probably wouldn’t dance with so much pleasure. But it doesn’t mean that we are not perfectionists.

Dancing is our leasure and we dance pretty much often. We love to meet and to turn the moments of rehearsal in performances.

We are dancing in the same manner as it was dancing in old times. Not folk dances, but a little bit older ones.
