Afternoon Concert: 14.00 – 16.00

A celebration of Shakespeare in his day, and across time: a variety of presentations to celebrate the range of his achievements, rounding off with social dancing c.1600.

Evening Event - Regency Shakespearean Masquerade Ball: 19.00 – 23.30

A Ball for dancers: you’re invited to come as a character from Shakespeare’s plays or in Regency dress with a mask. An elegant cold buffet supper will be served in the interval and there will be a bar. Prizes for the best costume!

Das Menuett ist für uns heute der Inbegriff des Tanzes in Barock und Rokoko. An unserem Menuett-Themenwochenende stehen gleich dreierlei Arten von Menuett auf dem Programm. Die drei Teile sind auch einzeln Buchbar.

Die schönsten Tänze um 1800

In diesem Kurs lernen wir die schönsten Tänze vom Beginn des 19. Jahrhunderts: Eine originelle Polonaise, ein echtes Menuett und die schönsten Ecossaisen, Anglaisen, Quadrillen, Douzen und frühen Mazurkas, wie sie in Deutschland um 1800 getanzt wurden.

La Poitevine, ein Paartanz von 1720 steht an diesem Wochenende auf dem Programm, wir werden diesen Tanz gemeinsam mit Philippa Waite erarbeiten.

Pour finir la saison, ce week-end, nous vous proposons de travailler "La
Clermont par Mr Balon", danse pour un homme et une femme, du XVe Recueil
de danses pour l'année 1717.
Cette danse est plaisante dans son rapport spatial et par son système de
question-réponse entre partenaires.

Le stage de danse baroque aura lieu le matin de 10h =>13h

L’Académie de Sablé est une formation de référence pour l’interprétation de la musique et de la danse baroques. Elle se tient tous les ans aux côtés du Festival baroque de Sablé, événement qui ajoute une couleur à la fois stimulante et conviviale au séjour proposé.
