Workshop

Wir tanzen von 11 bis 16 Uhr im Scheunencafe und werden dabei live begleitet von den Zeitreisenden auf ihren historischen Instrumenten.  Unser Repertoire besteht vor allem aus Tänzen aus dem Gresley Manuskript (England, ca. 1490), den Inns of Court (England, ca. 1600), sowie des Italiens im 15. Jahrhundert (Domenico) sowie vermischtes aus vor 1650 (also kein Playford). Mehr Infos findet ihr auf unserem Profil und der Website.

In diesem Wochenendkurs erarbeiten wir uns eine Choreographie von Lieven Baert zur Musik von „Laudate Dominum“ von Monteverdi.

Danzatrice e musicista pesarese, diplomata in Viola da Gamba presso il Conservatorio Statale di Musica “A. Boito” di Parma con il M° Roberto Gini, svolge attività di insegnamento e di ricerca nel campo della danza storica tenendo laboratori per scuole statali di ogni ordine e grado e corsi annuali per adulti e bambini in collaborazione con comuni, enti, associazioni e scuole di danza.

The traditional Easter School of the Società di Danza this year will be in Tabiano (Pr), in the Parmesan hills.

In a beautiful environment, we will have the opportunity to spend a few days of communuty life, and to study more in depth theoretical and practical aspects of 19 century dance.

Program: social dance of 19th century tradition.

Theatre, ball & country dances and the music of the eighteenth century with expert tutors.

Riccardo Barros: dancer, teacher, researcher, choreographer & director working in Britain, Europe & Brazil. Students of intermediate to advanced level will be encouraged to develop their technique and interpretational skills in La Belle Danse.

An unique, intense course for Baroque musicians (strings, wind and continuo) and Baroque dancers. The advanced course will focus on the intrinsic relation between mouvements (plié and elévé) and retakes in violin bowing technique (according to Lullian principles).

Tänze im Kreis, im Schlängelreien und zu dritt; zu Musik des katalanischen Llibre Vermell, aber auch etwas Närrisches!
Rimpferei 'Sumer ist înkomen nû', Cuncti simus concanentes, Stella splendens, Polorum regina, Tripel-tropeldei od. Firlefanz.
(Die Kreation zu Cuncti simus concanentes ist an die Sardana/Contrapas angelehnt; der Firlefanz hat ev. seit dem 13. Jh. ungebrochene Tradition, praktisch als einziger mittelalterlicher Tanz.)

Keine Vorkenntnisse nötig. Tänze leicht bis mittel.

The aim of the workshop is to improve our style and steps in Regency dancing and also encourage good posture, neat footwork, perfect our timing and sociable address in the improving dancer. We will also learn some interesting and different dances to challenge us!
