The next February 20th at 7:00 P.M., will be place the presentation os the new book "El manuscrito de Cervera. Música y danza palaciega catalana del siglo XV" by Cecilia Nocilli.

The Menuet à deux  —  the basic dance with lots of the variations offered by Pierre Rameau, Kellom Tomlinson, Gottried Taubert, Bartholome Ferriol and others, and showing also how the dance changed over time and how it was incorporated into other dances.

Dr John Gardiner-Garden is an Australian dancer, musician, researcher and dance teacher. He is the author of a 10 acclaimed books on historic dance, is the director of the  Earthly Delights Historic Dance Academy

Ana Yepes teaches Spanish baroque dance according to the following sources:

Courante und Sarabande ‒ beide Tanzformen des 17. Jhs werden im Hochbarock als getragen, gravitätisch, majestätisch charakterisiert und sind doch gänzlich verschieden. Die Courante glänzte als Gesellschaftstanz im Zeitalter des Sonnenkönigs, spielte die Hauptrolle im Hofball. Die Sarabande strahlte als Bühnentanz in zeitgenössischen Opern, hatte aber im 17. Jh. auch ihren Platz im Ballsaal. Eine spannende Annäherung an die beiden Danses de société wird Thema des nächsten Bad Rappenauer Kurses zur Tanzpraxis im 17. Jahrhundert sein.

Bi weekly court dance lessons, on saturdays or sundays (or both) given by Erwin Mulder at sporthal hogeveld in The Hague.

In a beautiful environment, we will have the opportunity to spend a few days of communuty life, and to study more in depth theoretical and practical aspects of 19 century dance.
