The Costume Workshop Historische Schneiderei is engaged in sewing historical costumes. The company is located in Poland and is run by Anna Moryto. The historical costumes include following Periods: Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque and 19th century. Costumes are made to order and always for the in individual dimensions of the customer. Special event with overseas guest Dr John Gardiner-Garden—director of the Earthly Delights Historic Dance Academy, author of 15 dance books, producer of 8 dance music CDs and a wonderfully engaging dance leader.
Wednesday 4 September, 7.30-10.30pm: Time Traveller Dance Party—tasting treats from all 10 of John’s new Historic Dance volumes.
Dress up in a historic costume to make the evening more special - and join dance friends of John and Aylwen who are on tour with them - to dance in this most goergous location, pictured above.
Classes will take place in the dance studios of the National Conservatory of Music and Dance (CNSMD) in Lyon, France.
THEILAÏA offers classes including : Classical Ballet, Repertory, Pas de deux, Character Dance, Baroque Dance and Floor Barre. The pedagogical team represent different Ballet Schools: the French School, the Bournonville School, the Cecchetti School; the Vaganova School.
