Glucks Ballettoper „Cythère assiegée“ (Das belagerte Cythère), 1775 in Paris uraufgeführt, steht im Mittelpunkt unseres Seminars. Cythère ist eine fiktive idyllische Insel, auf der die Liebe herrscht. Wilde Skythen drohen dieses Reich zu zerstören, aber – natürlich – durch die Macht der Liebe kommt alles zu einem guten Ende. Zu schönster Musik reihen sich die Ballette aneinander: glückliche Nymphen, raue, keulenschwingenden Skythen, fröhliche Hirten und edle Götter. Originale Choreographien sind nicht überliefert, die Tänze sind von Jadwiga Nowaczek neu choreographiert.

L’Académie de Sablé est une formation de référence pour l’interprétation de la musique, de la danse et du théâtre baroques. Elle se tient tous les ans aux côtés du Festival baroque de Sablé, événement qui ajoute une couleur à la fois stimulante et conviviale au séjour proposé.

Accademia Amsterdam (dir. Onno Verschoor) invites participants to an exciting summer course dedicated to Baroque chamber music and dance. Particular attention is paid to the overall interpretation of the early baroque period up to classicism. Accademia Amsterdam will treat participants to an inspiring concert. Students present themselves in the beautiful Auditorium Marianum of the Istituto Musicale 'G. Frescobaldi', located in the historical centre of Perugia and where most of the classes take place.

Aufgrund der starken Nachfrage zum Frühjahrskurs 2015 in Barock für Anfänger, möchten wir noch einmal einen Kurs für Anfänger in Barocktanz anbieten.

La belle danse oder der Barocktanz, so wie wir ihn heute deuten, ist entwickelt nach einem speziellen  System von Positionen, Haltungen und Techniken, die geübt werden müssen.

Die fünf Positionen, die spezielle Armhaltung fordern ein vorhergehendes Training und Körperbeherrschung.

Einige Formen von Affektiertheit werden nicht akzeptiert.
