Ab September 2018 starte ich wieder eine neue Klasse mit Tänzen um 1600.
Mittwochs lade ich alle ein,
die gerne die italienischen Tänze um 1600 kennenlernen wollen
oder Spass an den vergnüglichen historischen Tänzen haben.
Dieser Kurs ist gut für Tanzbegeisterte
auch ohne festen Tanzpartner geeignet.

En 1518, il y a donc tout juste 500 ans, le château d’Amboise fut le théâtre de festivités grandioses à l’occasion du baptême du Dauphin François (fils aîné de François Ier) et du mariage du neveu du pape, Laurent II de Médicis. Ces rendez-vous exceptionnels, ou s’invitèrent les plus hauts enjeux diplomatiques, réunirent autour du roi tous les dignitaires de haut rang du royaume et les ambassadeurs des cours princières européennes.

Workshop on English dance and its music from the Tudor period (approximately 16th century). All abilities welcome, but the day is designed particularly for people new to historical dance and music.
You don't need a partner, nor costume, nor previous experience. You should wear loose comfortable clothing and flexible footwear. You can choose to dance or to play (any portable acoustic instrument). Music will be provided for those who can read it.

Led by Dr Anne Daye, Director of Research and Education, Historical Dance Society; with members of Herts Early Dance Group. No previous experience necessary; a pleasant and interesting day for everyone, in a fine English mansion and gardens.
