Enjoy three days and nights of dance (plus music, costume, theatre, food and other fun) at our Jane Austen Festival Australiafrom 10-13 April at historic University House in Canberra-with 40 on-site beds for interstate and overseas visitors.    

All Saint’s Church, cnr Bonney/Cowper St., Ainslie with a hot meal provided early in the evening and with guest lutenist Nick Pollack.     

Dance while you sing, and sing while you dance at St Johns Church Hall, Constitution Ave, Reid. 7.30pm - 11.30. 
Everyone welcome, no partners necessary and all dances led. Please bring a plate of food for the late-evening supper table.

Sundays for Dance - "Cracovia Danza" Court Ballet in the Ludowy Theatre is a series of dance spectacles from different periods performed on the theatre stage. It is a proposal for spectators of all ages, enthusiasts of dance, theatre, ballet or pantomime. It is an excellent way of spending a Sunday's afternoon for a whole family!

Bien danser, savoir chanter et jouer d’un instrument permettaient de tenir avec grâce et dignité son rang dans la société. La Renaissance en musique et en danse est caractérisée par l’introduction dans le registre courtois de formes et d’éléments populaires. C’est ainsi qu’une part importante est accordée aux rondes, facteur de convivialité et de cohésion sociale.
