Enjoy a Baroque dance lesson with BEMF Ballet Mistress Melinda Sullivan (Dance Workshop Session I), and BEMF Baroque Dance Ensemble Member Karin Modigh (Dance Workshop Session II). Admission to each session is FREE with a BEMF Pass, but limited to the first 50 participants.

Quadrille Club's annual Winter Ball in 2013 will be Victorian (1850-1900), in the same venue as our highly successful Titanic Ball in 2012 - the delightful ballroom at York House, Twickenham, West London.  Dances will include quadrilles, couple dances, country dances and triplets, from 7pm to 11pm.  The MC will of course be Ellis Rogers and music will be provided by Green Ginger.  Tickets cost £45 and include a buffet supper.  A bar will be available, and a room for changing will open at 6pm.  There will be an afternoon workshop on the day, cost £3.

The Baroque Dance Weekend Workshop will be August 2nd, 3rd and 4th also at the Balance Arts Center. At the Workshop this year, we will explore how the French style of dance was interpreted in foreign countries.

Nous danserons la Gavotte du Roy à quatre par Mr Ballon, 1716.
Cette danse a la particularité d'être composée exclusivement de pas de
gavotte, et d'être un jeu de figures entre symétries, parallèles, dos à
dos, croisements multiples...
Nous terminerons par une contredanse de Mr Feuillet : Les Galeries d'Amour.
