The Winter Ball at Castle d’Ursel is a fine tradition. On Saturday 25 November 2017 we are welcoming you again, with flickering candles on the drive, drinks and refreshments in the mirrored room and of course an extensive programme of dances in the hall. This year's theme will be 1873.

In 1873 Johann Strauss composes "Wiener Blut", a waltz that even today most of us would recognise. A year later Strauss becomes even more famous with his operetta "Die Fledermaus".

Im historischen Ambiente eines Schlosses bei Arnstorf veranstalten wir am Abend des 17.03.18 einen Ball mit Live Musik der Gruppe "Camino de Cantigas"!

Mit der Musik ändern sich auch die Tanzstile. Die Paartänze von heute sind eine späte Erfindung. Ursprünglich haben Mann und Frau viel mehr in der Gruppe getanzt. Im überlieferten Material befinden sich zahlreiche Countrydances und Contredanses, die wir uns mühelos und schnell aneignen können. Hier bietet sich die beste Gelegenheit, mit Gleichgesinnten vergnügliche Tanzabende zu verbringen und dem Charme der historischen Formensprache zu erliegen.

This time Ballet Cracovia Danza will present a fairy tale! The Sleeping Beauty, spectacle with beautiful baroque music and dance is a performance not only for kids but also for adults. Court dance combined with modern in choreography by Dariusz Brojek, and beautiful colorful costumes by Bożena Pędziwiatr, create an amazing image which in combination with sounds of works J. B. Lully and J. P. Rameau move the audience to the world of baroque fairy tale.
