To celebrate the refurbishment of his splendid and exotic pavilion at Brighton, the Prince Regent has invited the glitterati of Britain and Europe to a Grand Ball. Away from the stuffy conventions of their own courts the crowns, coronets and courtesans will let their hair down, but they may need to protect their reputation by disguising their true identity....the pavilion is not renowned for its respectability.

Für kurzentschlossene Musikliebhaber bietet sich die Gelegenheit, die Barockmusik mal aus einem anderen Blickwinkel kennenzulernen. Unsere Kollegin Jadwiga Nowaczek unterrichtet seit Jahren sehr erfolgreich "Historischen Tanz" und wird den Workshop "Barocke Tänze" am 12. und 13. November 2011 leiten. Anmeldungen sind jetzt noch möglich, dieses Wochenende bietet sicher eine hervorragende Möglichkeit zum "Hineinschnuppern" in die Welt des historischen Tanzes. Weitere Details siehe unten.

Lieven Baert gründete 1992 das „Institut für historischen Tanz, Musik und Theater“ in Gent, mit dem Ziel, historische Tanzformen aus dem 15. – 19.Jhdt wissenschaftlich zu erforschen und zu katalogisieren.

Danse de bal à couplets et refrain identique !
Cette danse est composée de deux pièces, une bourrée et une loure.
Le stage débutera par un échauffement, des exercices de style et par l'apprentissage par tous de la Bourrée. (1h30)
Les intermédiaires/avancés étudient ensuite la loure (1h30).
