Irène Feste and Pierre-François Dollé are both professional dancers and teachers specialized in historical dance and especially in french Renaissance, baroque and french first Empire. The company Fantaisies Baroques is composed by dancers, musicians, singers and comedians wich are all passionated by those periods and willing to create new forms with historical material. Between the Australian 2012 National Folk Festival at Easter and the 2012 Jane Austen
Festival Australia from 12-15 April, the Earthly Delights Historic Dance Academy is offering 3 days revelling in English Dance between Shakespeare and Austen.
From Tuesday 10 to Thursday 12 April 2012 discover the richness of English social dance in the Elizabethan, early Stuart, Civil War, Restoration and Georgian eras. Enjoy 90 fabulous dances in all sorts
Dr John Gardiner-Garden is a dance teacher, researcher, performer, leader, choreographer, organiser and musician (on hurdy-gurdy, border pipes and wooden flute) with 25 years of experience. He is well-respected for the rigour he brings to his historical research, the creativity he brings to his his productions and the enthusiasm he brings to his teaching. He is literate in every dance notation system from the 15th to the19th century and possesses a library of over 200 historic dance manuals.
Performing group dedicated to Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Regency, Victorian and Vintage Dance. Classes offered weekly at the Australian National University in Canberra.

Ball ab 19.30 Uhr
Einen Kostümball im Sibylla-Augusta Festsaal (Rittersaal) im Ettlinger Schloss veranstalten die Tanzgruppe „Caprice“ und die Wirkstatt in Kooperation mit dem Kulturamt Ettlingen am Samstag, 11. Februar ab 19:30 Uhr. Damit wird eine Tradition wieder lebendig, die einst von Markgraf Ludwig Wilhelm und seiner Gemahlin Sibylla Augusta gepflegt wurde.

Dress-code - suit Baroque or Rococo.
