Unter dem Titel "Besuch Friedrichs des Großen" läßt der Heimatverein Ansbach zusammen mit Gastkünstlern das Leben am Hofe der Markgrafen von Ansbach wiedererstehen mit Tanz, Gaukelei, Musik, Militärparade etc..

Since our annual Winterbal has already sold out, we have decided to organise a second ball on Saturday 17th December.

On this festive evening too, the grand hall of the castle will once again be transformed into an 18th-century ballroom. The musicians and dancing masters of the Classical Dance Foundation will invite you for a beautiful series of contredances. At the same time, you can also visit the other rooms in the castle. To keep you dancing throughout the evening, refreshments will be provided.

Although spring has barely begun, we already have the pleasure to invite you to our annual Winterbal au Château d'Ursel.

The stately home at Hingene was the ‘maison de plaisance’ of the aristocratic d’Ursel family for almost four centuries. Now, it belongs to the Province of Antwerp who has restored the castle to its former glory with passion.

The group Höfische Festspiele Potsdam shows on 17th April at 3pm the performance "La Danse des Élements" in colaboration with Friederike Rinne-Wolf /Mezzosoprano, Timo Sturm /Actor, Ballet baroque berlin (Dancers: Natalie Adamková and Milo Pablo Momm), Celeste Sirene (Christiane Gerhardt/ Viola da Gambe and Daniel Kurz/ Chitarrone).

Desde los orígenes de la Humanidad las personas han bailado por motivos religiosos, bélicos, festivos o emocionales. La danza y la música bailable han estado siempre presentes en todas las sociedades, aunque en algunas lo ha hecho de forma más intensa, como en el caso de los estamentos superiores de las sociedades europeas de los siglos XVI al XIX, que exaltaron la danza hasta convertirla en una obsesión, un ingrediente imprescindible de la educación cortesana: proliferaron los maestros de danza, las escuelas y los libros que nobles y burgueses consumían con gran avidez.
