Welcome to the Seventh Malta Regency Weekend!

As always, we’re beavering away to make this one the best yet. The activities have
all been lined up, for your pleasure, and the costings should be finalised within
the next couple of weeks. The program will be:
Friday 26th

– late morning winery visit with light lunch
– dance workshop
– evening meal at the Castille Hotel

Saturday 27th

– Palazzo Falson in Mdina and the Dominican Priory
– lunch in the cloister of the Dominican Priory
– the Ball and a Corsair Captain’s meal

Società di Danza Firenze organizes a 19th Century Grand  Ball in the beautiful Villa Viviani  

Waltzes, quadrills, polka and mazurkas, contredanse and marches, Scottish country dances.

The ball will take place in the charming ancient salon of Villa Viviani.

The historical villa has also a beautiful italian garden with a scenographic view of the City  

The buffet will be served at the of the Ball.

Circolo Pisano della Società di Danza organizes anreconstruction of a 19th Cenntury grand Ball in the marvellious historical Villa Agostini della Seta di Corliano, close to Pisa.

Quadrilles, waltz, polka and mazurkas, contredanse and marches, Scottish country dance and aglio.

The ball will take place in the elegant and charming main salon with ancient frescoes of Villa della Seta di Corliano.

Schloss Heidecksburg lädt 2019 erneut zum Barockevent der Extraklasse 

Fürstlicher Barockball und höfische Festkultur in märchenhaft malerischer Kulisse

Schloss Heidecksburg/Rudolstadt. Die einzigartigen Barockfeste des Residenzschlosses Heidecksburg zu Rudolstadt gelten als exklusiver Geheimtipp und ziehen seit Jahren die internationale Fangemeinde des Rokoko magisch an. Am zweiten Septemberwochenende 2019 öffnen sich nun erneut  die Tore des Schlosses und weiterer Veranstaltungsstätten zu einem barocken Event der Extraklasse.

Historischer Wintertanz mit Okzitanis

Wieder einmal binden Hannelore und Andrea einen bunten und reichhaltigen Strauß aus choreographischen Raritäten und Gustostückerl der Tanzquellen des 19. Jahrhunderts.  Diesmal stehen weitere Contredansesdes bewährten Tanzmeisters E. F. D. Helmke auf unserem Programm:L’Ancre, La Cigogne, Le Chamois, Le Casque, Le Roi.

7pm – 11pm

Come and celebrate 50 years of historical dance with a masquerade ball Regency style. Bring the spirit of the Venetian Carnival to Newark with
fantastic costumes and masks: prizes for the most inventive! An elegant cold buffet supper will be served in the interval. Cash bar. 

Callers: Anne Daye, Libby Curzon and Toni Warner. All dances will be called.

The cultural association "Società di Danza", founded in Bologna in 1991 by Fabio Mòllica, is a Federation of Circoli and grouos.

Auch in diesem Jahr darf der historische Tanzball im Programm des Wittenberger Renaissance Musikfestivals nicht fehlen. Wie gewohnt führen drei Tanzmeister mit Charme und Ideen durch das Tanzvergnügen nach Kurfürstenart: Jutta Voß, Mareike Greb und Mark Frenzel leiten vier gemeinsame Tanzrunden an – mit alten englischen Country Dances auch, aber nicht nur aus dem Hause Playford! Unerlässlich am Wittenberger Ballabend: Live-Musik, gespielt von einem auf historische Tanzmusik spezialisierten Ensemble wie La Moresca.
