In diesem Kurs werden wir einige der spezifischen Elemente aus Tomlinsons Abhandlung „The Art of Dancing“ (1735) untersuchen. Anhand seiner Choreografien werden wir seine Beschreibungen der Schritte und Armbewegungen erforschen. Dabei werden wir auch berücksichtigen, was Tomlinson als „die gesamte Kunst des Tanzens“ bezeichnet, und seine Kupferstichillustrationen als Anregung nutzen, um einen individuellen Stil und Charme beim Tanzen zu entwickeln.

Jane Austen hat Geburtstag! Wenn das kein Grund zum Feiern ist… Darum laden wir ein zu einem festlichen Ball mit fröhlichen Country Dances und Cotillions aus der Zeit um 1800. „Playford’s Pleasure“ unter der Leitung von Karin Feneberg ist auch wieder mit dabei und wird uns mit schwungvoller Livemusik begleiten. Pia Winkler wird den unterhaltsamen Teil des Ballprogramms in die Hand nehmen.

The Court Dance Festival is an artistic event organized by the Balet Dworski Cracovia Danza. Its main goal is to present the dance heritage of Kraków, Poland, Europe, and even the entire world. The culture of court dances, present in every country, serves as a source of inspiration for creating performances and artistic spectacles rooted in traditions and practices preserved to this day.

We will study 19th century dance: waltz, quadrille, polka, mazurka and Scottish Country Dance.

Dancing hall open air, with parquet.
Classes in the afternoon 5.00 pm - 8.00 pm.
Breakfast and dinner in Villa.
Free time to enjoy holiday at the beautiful sea, cultural visits to archeological sites and old towns, naturalistic walks.

La pratique de six heures par jour en danse et en musique historique durant la semaine de stage a pour finalité, à la fois la découverte et la maîtrise de ces disciplines, mais surtout l'élaboration d'une représentation publique réunissant amateurs et professionnels sur scène.

Le spectacle "Allegro Legato" évoquera la rencontre entre l'Art chorégraphique et l'Art culinaire. Le thème d'un banquet festif, dont la mise en bouche se situera au XVème siècle et le dessert au XVIIIème siècle, offrira aux danses historiques leur place d'entremets.
