Located by the sea in idyllic surroundings, just south of Gothenburg, Löftadalen Conservatory will host the fifth International Summer Academy of Baroque Dance, inviting top-notch teachers from France, Italy and Sweden.

Baroque Dance Technique Workshop in Paris with Guillaume Jablonka from Divertimenty

20-21-22 February 2018 3pm-6pm in Micadanses studio Noces

Warm up with Barres Flexibles and then work on baroque dance steps, finally training of the choreography by Pecour "La Muzette a deux" (1713) from Callirhoe.

19th Century Ball with live music in the historical hall of Bologna. Participation of several groups of Società di Danza from Italian cities.
The cultural association "Società di Danza", founded in Bologna in 1991 by Fabio Mòllica, is a Federation of Circoli and groups.

In diesem Workshop mit Hubert Hazebroucq widmen wir uns den unterschiedlichen nationalen Charakteren im Barocktanz. Die Darstellung von verschiedenen Nationen ist schon im Ballet des 18ten Jahrhunderts typisch: mit Schritten, Gesten der Arme und der Körperhaltung werden diese unterschiedlichen nationalen Charkatere ausgedrückt. Die  Tänze für diesen Kurs stammen alle drei aus dem männlichen theatralischen Repertoire und schildern drei verschiedenen Nationen: rustikale Bauern aus Frankreich, eine groteske Figur für eine "Turquerie", und ein eleganter Solotanz zu einer englischen Melodie.
