The Förderverein für historischen Tanz e.V. (Association for Supporting Historical Dance) in Munich invites interested persons to participate by Zoom in a 2021 Online Lecture on Practical Dance History:

Would you like to explore graceful social dance from the bygone era of the great medieval and Renaissance courts? Have no real experience, or wish to review fundamental footwork and techniques and learn some "new" dances? Then join my workshop series and walk away with a fundamental grasp of both the basics along with a new dance every week. Baroque Dance Workshops: Steps in Context

A mix of Technique, Notation Reconstruction and Presentation Skills dances, you don't need to be able to read notation for these classes but a copy of the notation will be available for those interested.

Saturdays, 10:30am to 5:00pm (UK time)

Session 1: 10:30am - 1:15pm; All levels, beginners welcome

Session 2: 2:15pm - 5:00pm; Intermediate/Advanced, no beginners
