Historical Dance Theatre "A l'entrada" is a non-profit artistic organization engaged in research and perfomance of old European dance, vocal music and theatre from the Middle Ages to the mid twentieth century. The main goal of the theatre is to immerse spectators into the wonderful world of historical ball, bringing a fairy tale to the modern life. Beautiful costumes, live music, singing, acting, juggling and, off course, dancing are the main components of "A l'entrada's" perfomances. La Vida en Público!

Bal rennaissance et bal breton (Fest-Noz) au violon, musiques anciennes et traditionnelles bretonnes.
Samedi 28 Novembre à 17h à la salle Jean-Rochefort du CREC
C’est un fest-noz/bal Renaissance qui à lieu dans le cadre de la fête du violon et qui met donc en avant les instruments à cordes frottées. Les danses de la Renaissance alterneront avec les danses bretonnes.
Erlernt werde Gesellschaftstänze der Renaissance, wie sie im 14. und 15. Jahrhundert an den Königs- und Fürstenhöfen in Italien, Frankreich und England getanzt wurden.

Renaissance to the Roaring 20's
This society was founded in 1981 and organises day courses led by experienced and qualified tutors. Background information in music, costume and history are provided as well as technique and dances.
Anyone interested in history, early music, ballet, amateur dramatics etc will find these workshops stimulating and fun.
Im quattrocento und im cinquecento entfaltete sich an den italienischen Fürstenhöfen eine reiche Tanzkultur. Während die Tänze im 15. Jahrhundert durch einfache Schritte in teilweise rhythmisch sehr anspruchsvollen Formen geprägt waren, zeigten die Tänze um 1600 bereits einen grossen Reichtum an verzierten, schnellen Schritten.
In diesem Workshop werden Tänze in verschiedenen Formationen erlernt: Tänze für drei, für vier und für sechs Tanzende.
Die Tanzbeschreibungen mit Angaben zu der gewählten Musik werden verteilt.
Chieko ONO graduated in Japan and now lives in Assisi and Guardea. She directed many Italian 15th century dances in Italy and around Europe, USA and Japan.
She will hold the 13th edition of the Assisi Dance course in June 2010.
Since 1993, she has been conducting the "Belreguardo" Historical Dance Company; she is also the Director of the Cultural Association Il Convivio. Her teaching activity is the outcome of a thorough comparative study on ancient Italian and Japanese dance.
Du XVe siècle à la Renaissance, nous connaissons essentiellement la danse de cour. Bien danser, savoir chanter et jouer d’un instrument permettaient de tenir avec grâce et dignité son rang dans la société. La Renaissance en musique et en danse est caractérisée par l’introduction dans le registre courtois de formes et d’éléments populaires. C’est ainsi qu’une part importante est accordée aux rondes, facteur de convivialité et de cohésion sociale.

COST
Each weekend costs a total of € 450,00 divided by the participants. There is a minimum of 8 participants (which would mean 56€ per person. If there are more than 8 participants, the cost of the course is less).
