On April 24, Noah Hellwig and Karin Modigh will perform some newly created baroque and off-baroque dance, together with the chamber music concept Stockholm Syndrome Ensemble.

Presentation skills for experienced dancers

The use of arms, head and musical interpretation to enhance Baroque dance performance.

This workshop will look at ways the motions of arms and head plus different musical interpretations can enhance the performance of dances in the Baroque style.

Time: 14th of June, 12 am – 3.00 pm/ 4 – 6.30 pm

Workshop im Rahmen der 7. Internationalen Barocktanztage in Potsdam

In diesem Workshop nehmen wir zwei große „Liebeszenen“ von meinem Lieblingsdramatiker Molière ins Visier. Als Beispiel werden sich die Figuren der Commediadell´arte wunderbar eignen. Mit den Teilnehmern zusammen skizzieren wir die Figuren: stellen die wichtigsten Fragen, erforschen ihre tiefsten Wünsche und primäre Ziele. Danach lassen wir sie improvisieren und zum Schluss arbeiten wir mit dem Moliere Text.

Folgende Szenen von „Tartüffe“ sollten die Teilnehmer gut kennen:
