Les chorégraphies du spectacle « Favola… balla ! » seront une évocation vivante des fables d’Esope (VIIème siècle avant JC) traduites au XVIème siècle (Perret, Corrozet) et bien sûr de celles de Jean de La Fontaine.

              La représentation animale, qu’elle soit humoristique ou plus sensible, accompagnera donc la fantaisie musicale et dansante du spectacle estival 2019, qui s’achèvera comme chaque année par un bal où le public sera chaleureusement invité.

Depuis 11 ans, le stage estival de la Compagnie Bassa Toscana est le rendez-vous de passionnés de danse, mais également de musique, de littérature et d’histoire. L’équipe pédagogique constituée d’artistes interprètes (Bernadette Jacquet, Solène Riot, Hubert Hazebroucq et Stéphane Quéant), propose aux stagiaires un travail de reconstitution d’après les écrits patrimoniaux, tout en laissant la place à la création. Le stage « Favola…balla ! » est un hommage aux animaux et c’est autour des fables allant d’Esope à La Fontaine que s’articule le programme chorégraphique. Favola… balla !

MICHEL SAINT-LÉON (1777 - 1853):

Michel Saint-Léon, Vater des berühmten Tänzers und Choreographen Arthur Saint-Léon und selbst Tänzer der Académie Royale de Musique in Paris, wirkte von 1822 - 1842 als Tanzmeister der Prinzessinnen am königlichen Hof von Württemberg. Ihnen widmete er zwischen 1829 und 1836 vier Notizbüchlein, in denen er Übungen für das Tanztraining, Theaterchoreographien und Gesellschaftstänze beschreibt.

Ich habe meine Leidenschaft für das historische Tanzen während meines Studiums am musikwissenschaftlichen Institut der Universität Heidelberg entdeckt und weiterenwickelt. Ich war Gründungsmitglied und Tanzleiterin der Renaissancetanzgruppe Saltarello und übernahm nach meinem berufsbedingten Wechsel nach Nürnberg die ehrenamtliche Tanzleitung bei der Nürnberger Schembart-Gesellschaft. In vielen Kursen bei den führenden Tanzhistorikerin Europas, wie zum Beispiel Barbara Sparti, Lieven Baert, Jane Gingell, Bruna Gondoni u.a. habe ich meine Kenntnisse vertieft.
