A DAZZLING EXTRAVAGANZA SET IN 18TH CENTURY STOCKHOLM

Welcome to a dazzling 360-degree extravaganza where a group of French travelling actors is in charge of the entertainment. Anything can happen, because the French really know how to turn life in to an adventure! Our guide is a playful Tessin, the great palace architect and lover of the arts, who dazzles us with his illusions.

Asignatura obligatoria en el último curso (4º) para todas las especialidades e itinerarios. Asignatura teórico-práctica. Anual. 6 Créditos (180 horas). Danza renacentista, barroca, Española del Siglo de Oro, Neoclásica y prerromántica.

                Si le monde marche sur la tête, si nous avons le sentiment d’être des marionnettes, faisons volte-face et dansons avec légèreté et humour.

                Carnaval, fête des fous sont les manifestations d’un monde inversé. Déjà connus dans l’antiquité, ces moments de logique à l’envers avec négation de l’ordre établi se codifient dès la Renaissance.

We shall be covering several dances over this series, possibly to include (rate of progress allowing):  Bassadanza Pellegrina, Bassadanza Mignotta vecchia, and Gratiosa  

Depuis 12 ans, le stage estival de la Compagnie Bassa Toscana est le rendez-vous de passionnés de danse, mais également de musique, de littérature et d’histoire. L’équipe pédagogique constituée d’artistes interprètes (Bernadette Jacquet, Solène Riot, Guillaume Jablonka et Stéphane Quéant), propose aux stagiaires un travail de reconstitution d’après les écrits patrimoniaux, tout en laissant la place à la création.
