Der Katharinentag war traditionell der letzte Festtag vor der Adventszeit, in der früher ein striktes Tanzverbot und Fastengebot bestand. Also wurde an diesem Tag noch einmal ausgiebig getafelt und getanzt. Auch in diesem Jahr findet der Kathreinstanz in Kooperation mit den Altstadtfreunden an alt ehrwürdiger Stelle und stilistisch passend in der Renaissance-Halle des Peller-Hofs am Egidien-Platz statt. Deshalb sind uns historisch gewandete Gäste an diesem Fest-Abend besonders willkommen.
