DANCE
15th -century Italian dances and Basse dance. You will learn how to improvise with the choreographies of Masters Domenico and Guglielmo, with a special focus on a 14th-century dance and a basse danse de Bourgogne.
Good technical background required.

Each evening will include dancers in historical costume, background information and a
chance to join in and try out the dance moves at RADA.

By using the new CD, Gloria et Malum, Italian courts dance music of the fifteenth century.

This work brings together approaches and research of historical dances and music and was born from close collaboration between Chieko Ono, director of the ancient Dance Company Belreguardo and the Ensemble Micrologus.
