“Tornei d’Amore” Masterclass with Claudia Celi
Taking its inspiration from the theme of battle, a recurring theme in musical compositions of the time, the Masterclass features skirmishes and choreographed love tournaments between ladies and knights. The two sessions of the course, open to students of all levels, in addition to the technical study of steps, offer choreographies reconstructed based on the treatises of the dance masters of the 16th and early 17th centuries.

Bei diesem Kurs werden wir Tänze mit vier Tänzer/innen erarbeiten - in Verbindung zum letzten Renaissancekurs "Ballo in terzo".
Blickten diese Tänze noch zurück zum "Quattrocento", schauen die "Balli in quattro" eher in die Zukunft, hin zum "Seicento" und den frühen Countrydances.
Wenn die meisten Trio-Tänze bei Fabritio Caroso vorkommen, so findet sich die überwiegende Auswahl von Vierer-Tänzen bei Cesare Negri.
