This is a very special opportunity to enjoy and understand how a Jacobean masque functions, through a recreation of The Lords’ Masque, written by Thomas Campion for the nuptials of Elizabeth, Princess of England and First Lady of Scotland, the daughter of James I, on 14th February, 1613. The team of tutors has experience and expertise in the recreation of Stuart masques (the English ballet de cour), bringing to life the texts with the dance and music that were the heart of a masque.

              C’est en mettant le jeu au cœur de son spectacle que Bassa Toscana fête son dixième stage estival. L’exploration du divertissement à travers le temps impose la référence, d’une part à Rabelais qui fournit un inventaire des 215 jeux de Gargantua, et d’autre part à Brueghel qui sur sa toile Jeux des Enfants (1560) n’en dessine pas moins de 84. Danza Vosolvia lädt ein zum 22. Sommertanzkurs mit Lieven Baert, Gent

Wir füllen unsere Abende mit Gesellschaftstänzen, Tanzvideos und Vorträgen. Daneben probieren wir an einem Abend leckere Weine aus der Region in einem Weingut und genießen an einem anderen Abend ein schönes Essen in einem Restaurant.
