Baroque

The Course will take place over the weekend of 1st and 2nd October 2022.  Saturday 1st : An introduction to Folía and its variations, which has its own style and step vocabulary, catering also for those with less experience of the period. Sunday 2nd : Aiming at more experienced dancers, focus will be on Folies d’Espagne, as performed in the French Court.

Asignatura obligatoria para todo el alumnado del último curso en el Título superior de Danza, en todas las especialidades, estilos e itinerarios.

En ella se estudia y se profudiza analíticamente sobre la Danza Histórica del renacimiento y del barroco, con especial interés en la Danza Española del Siglo de Oro y de la danza en el entorno de la Opera y Ballets del Siglo XVIII en España y en Francia. Prestando especial interés en las transversalidades (música, indumentaria, notación coreográfica, puesta en escena)

L'Humor Bizzarro Early Dance & Music Summer Workshop
21st edition – Rome 4-7 August 2022

Aus dem 18. Jahrhundert haben wir einige erhaltene Tänze, die hessischen Prinzen und Prinzessinnen gewidmet sind, einen Bezug zur hessischen Geschichte haben oder als Quellen heute in hessischen Bibliotheken verwahrt werden. Bei diesen Tänzen handelt es sich nicht um hessische Folklore- oder Nationaltänze, sondern um normale Gesellschaftstänze, wie sie überall in Europa getanzt wurden.

Zum Abschluss des Jahres ein barockes Damensolo aus England. Dieser Tanz ist uns in zwei Varianten erhalten: das in einem choreographischen Notizbuch von Tomlinson notierte „The Slow Minuitt by Mr Caverley“ und das von Pemberton veröffentlichte „Mr. Caverley’s Slow Minuet. A New Dance for a Girl.“ Beide Fassungen sind leider ohne genaue Datierung, stammen aber vermutlich aus den 1720er Jahren. Wir werden uns an diesem Wochenende mit der etwas längeren Fassung von Tomlinson beschäftigen.

Il était une fois le climat

Stage de musique et danse ancienne du 29 juillet au 6 août 2023 à Auxerre

                Stage de 9 jours (du 29 juillet au 6 août 2023) à Auxerre et spectacle le 6 août en soirée à l’Abbaye Saint-Germain.

La pratique de six heures par jour en danse et en musique historique durant la semaine de stage a pour finalité, à la fois la découverte et la maîtrise de ces disciplines, mais surtout l'élaboration d'une représentation publique réunissant amateurs et professionnels sur scène.
