Das Quattrocento, d. h. das 15. Jahrhundert auf italienischem Boden ist reich an Tänzen voller Vitalität und Schwung, aber auch reich an Tänzen voller Gemessenheit und intellektueller Herausforderung. Eine höchst attraktive Verbindung zwischen beidem sind die Tänze mit programmatischem Inhalt, die ein außerhalb des Tanzes liegendes Thema auf choreographische Weise umsetzen. Mit viel Phantasie, oft auch Witz und Humor gehen die beiden Tanzmeister Domenico und Guglielmo dabei zu Werke.

A practical course in 15th Century Dance with emphasis on style and presentation with Jorgen Schou-Pederson at Belsey Bridge Conference Centre

Set in a peaceful rural location in Ditchingham near Bungay in Suffolk., the course will run  from 5.30 pm on Friday 10th April to 4 pm on Sunday 12th April. Saturday afternoon will be free.

Accommodation is for two nights with all meals included.

A Workshop by Hazel Dennison, covering dances from the 15th century Italian repertoire

The workshop will cover material from the following dances all of which are from the 15thC Italian repertoire and are built around the concept of possession and jealousy:

L'Association  Rotruenge  propose  un  Week-End  d'initiation  aux  danses  du Moyen-Age. Ces deux journées se dérouleront sous forme d'ateliers animés par Christophe  Deslignes  et  Eva  Fogelgesang.  La  soirée  du  Samedi  sera consacrée à Bal médiéval, renaissance et traditionnel.

L'Association Rotruenge propose un Week-End d'initiation aux danses du Moyen-Age, d'après l'antique transmission orale du savoir et du savoir-faire. Ces  quatre  journées  se  dérouleront  sous  forme  d'ateliers  dirigés  par Christophe Deslignes, assisté d'Eva Fogelgesang. Chaque journée d'atelier se terminera par de petites auditions, démonstrations, conférences, animées par la Compagnie des 5 Cercles avec la participation des stagiaires. Il workshop dedicato alla figura di Gugliemo Ebreo (Pesaro, circa 1420 - Urbino, 1484), in programma in luoghi altamente significativi di Pesaro e Gradara dal 20 al 23 settembre 2012, si propone di ricordare la figura di Guglielmo Ebreo, autore di uno dei primi trattati dell'arte del ballo che circolò presso quasi tutte le corti della penisola in diverse redazioni manoscritte.
