Du XVe siècle à la Renaissance, nous connaissons essentiellement la danse de cour. Bien danser, savoir chanter et jouer d’un instrument permettaient de tenir avec grâce et dignité son rang dans la société. La Renaissance en musique et en danse est caractérisée par l’introduction dans le registre courtois de formes et d’éléments populaires. C’est ainsi qu’une part importante est accordée aux rondes, facteur de convivialité et de cohésion sociale.

We are happy to announce the international dance workshop of BASSADANZA and BALLO with renowned dancer and teacher BRUNA GONDONI.
The workshop will take place in Ljubljana center (Kazino dance hall, Kongrasni trg 1), from 16th until 17th of April 2016.

Introduction and practice of the Court Dance based on Italian humanist theories. By learning the style and the rules established by the Italian masters of the time, we will be able to revive the Renaissance on our skin.

We will practice unreleased dances reconstructed through original Treaties.

with a series of day workshops from the Renaissance to the Roaring 20's 10.30 am – 12.30pm and 1.15pm - 3.30 pm
